I then explored the menu in tomtom home after that and there is a section named Use my activation code.

You no longer need to have the Splice application running or a internet connection to use Serum. When I first started up the tomtom home with it on my computer it downloaded and updated the Australia map by itself.

But.all you have to do is.after you get to that page, turn of the drone and the remote and get out of the app. Open Serum in your DAW and it will prompt you to enter that serial number.

Life is just a computer program but without an 'UNDO' button. You get to the page where they ask you to put in your activation code and you see you dont have one in your email or on a little blue card and even the people on the phone struggle. NB: This cannot be done if the unit is connected via the USB cable.disconnect it first. BACK IT UP NOW!!!!.ĮDIT: Your device code is obtained by tapping the right lower area of the main screen (where it shows battery and GPS meters).then tapping version number.Giving you a system screen showing your Device Code. My suggestion is look at any reg changes you have made or rom updates and see if restoring them to the old setting allows you to activate the old code once more. After hearing about the unlucky member of this forum who lost his product code.and can't restart his unit.I immediately dug out my CD cover and visited TomTom's site Here to remind me of my activation code.which I had foolishly not written down in the exitement of getting my unit.I have now written down both the Product Code and the Activation code where I will never lose them again. If you did the same as me.then I strongly suggest you all do the same.and if you haven't already backed up your SD card to a folder on your PC. So god only knows how they generate the codes for tomtom So after 6 weeks of arguing with tom i bought another copy and my wife who has my mpx 220 has the old one on that.butĪ few weeks ago I did a few reg edits on the qtek I application unlocked it so I could run unsigned programs on it then tom tom wanted a new activation code again so i used my second lifline on the new reg code of the newly bought product then last week i bought sprite made a back and made a restore everything worked spot on apart from one thing.yep you guessed it tomtom wanted anew activation code.this was the third one of the new software.now if i do another back up will it want a fourth code wich i can not supply nor will i be able to provide proof of purchase of a new device or of repair as neither of thse have caused the device ID to change but all through this the IMEI code and user name installed on the phone have remained the same through out That being the case I decided to order a Cisco IP 8851 for my home office.

You see as it was done online no proof-no proof = no new code If you make a genuine purchase and your email address is correct, you will receive the serial number by email within 10 minutes. Activation code for my phone I have a Cisco IP 8851 on my desk in my office and recently with COVID-19 I have started working from home.

I tried to reregister but the new code was not allowing it.now tomtom will hapilly issue me a new reg code if i provide them with original reciept of purchase (not a problem) and proof of new rom installation carried out by the repair center (HHHMMMMM) I purchased, downloaded and installed the map on my first device. This in turn changed my phone ID (bare in mind my IMEI code and user name or both identical to that befor the upgrade) SOURCE: activation code missing from secondhand tomtom, think its a 500 go I have managed to load a downloaded map onto two separate Tomtom one XL devices. Now at this point I had used up the three "lifelines" to register tomtom but that was fine it was on he device i wanted it on so all was well until the new ROM was released so i upgraded my ROM online. I have posted about this before I was forced by tomtom o buy a new copy I had it aon an mox 220 then i changed the rom thus changind my phone ID si I had to reregister tomtom not a problem the i got a qtek 8310 and and registered that with a new device code.
